The global projection screen market keeps expanding, driven by home-theater “TV replacement” demand and smart office deployment. ALR (Ambient Light Rejecting) screens are the fastest-growing segment, including Fresnel for ultra-short-throw laser TVs and lenticular / PET long-throw ALR panels. Fixed narrow-bezel frames, tab-tension motorized screens and drill-free motorized floor-rising screens are top sellers. 4K / 8K compatible, acoustically transparent perforated screens are gaining traction for custom home cinemas.
Budget matte-white, glass-bead and tripod portable screens remain highly competitive with abundant supply. Smart features — voice control, Wi-Fi linkage, in-ceiling recessed installation — are increasingly integrated into mid-to-high-end models. The most popular residential sizes are 100” and 120”; commercial and luxury home theaters often adopt 133”–150”; screens above 200” serve event and engineering projects with much higher total cost.

Low-end matte screens face fierce price competition. High-performance ALR and Fresnel carry strong premiums but see gradual cost reduction as domestic optical-film supply matures. Floor-rising hidden screens and recessed in-ceiling designs will continue as key innovation directions in the next six months. Overseas cross-border demand stays steady, especially for home cinema ALR and portable outdoor screens.
