A Chinese audio-visual brand has released its new-generation ALR (Ambient Light Rejecting) projection screen, optimized for ultra-short-throw laser projectors for home cinema, meeting rooms and exhibition spaces.
Built with precision optical microstructures, the screen achieves up to 85% ambient light rejection. It maintains high contrast and deep black levels under bright lighting, greatly washing out caused by ceiling lamps and stray ambient light. The tab-tensioned electric system keeps the surface flat, resisting curling and wrinkles over time with consistent picture uniformity. It features a wide viewing angle for even colour performance across multiple viewing positions.
Available in popular sizes from 100 to 150 inches, the screen supports wall-mounted or recessed installation to match interior decoration. The brand noted that as laser projectors gain popularity, ALR screens have become a key accessory for bright-room projection, and new optical coating upgrades will follow.
